The only difference in enjoyment here is that they are a year apart. I love both of these films equally. Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice and Winona Ryder's song and dance number in the end sequence. Then, you have the perfect wittiness of Pirate Roberts in The Princess Bride. I think I will have to go with The Princess Bride for its overall perfection as a comedy.

Two 80s 'classics' that I have some no so fond memories of. Both are in desperate need of a rewatch on my part, but I'll go with Princess Bride for now.

Beetlejuice was great. But it will need a few more viewings to let it sink in before I can pick it over The Princess Bride.
