Daniel Galvin Obituary, Death Cause – On November 13th, in the comfort of his own home, Daniel J. Galvin, a man who had been a resident of Canton before moving to Plainville, passed away unexpectedly. He had a total of 56 years of experience. Dan held the position of field engineer at Karas & Karas Glass Company in South Boston for the duration of his twenty years of employment there. Dan Galvin’s parents, Dr. James Galvin and Patricia Galvin (Moylan), both went away before he was born. Dan was their son. During the time
that they spent together as a pair, he was Maryellen Galvin (MacLeod)’s childhood sweetheart in addition to being a devoted husband to her for 34 years. He was a devoted father to his three sons, Daniel J. Galvin, Jr., Owen R. Galvin, and Conor J. Galvin, all of whom live in Plainville. Daniel J. Galvin, Jr. is married and lives in Shrewsbury. Beloved brother of Maryanne Burakoff of Walpole, Nora Galvin of Walpole, Kathleen Lennon and her husband Tom of Plymouth, James Galvin and his wife Rosanna of Canton, Maura Hershman and her husband Craig of Walpole, and Liam Galvin of Walpole.
Also survived by Kathleen Lennon and her husband Tom of Plymouth. Also left behind are seven aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. In addition, Dan is survived by his sister-in-law Suzanne Stevens and her husband Michael of Attleboro, as well as his brother-in-law David MacLeod and his wife Amy of Plainville. Both of these individuals were his spouses’ siblings. Richard H. MacLeod, Jr., who had previously passed away, was his brother-in-law. He was a brother-in-law to this individual.
