Dr. Caplan was a cherished member of our Virginia Eyecare Center family, and his departure has left a void that is impossible to fill. Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Caplan touched the lives of countless individuals, both within our organization and the broader community. He started his journey as the first Optometrist in Burke back in 1975, a pioneering figure who left an indelible mark on the field of eye care.

His dedication, knowledge, and unwavering commitment to patient well-being were evident to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Dr. Caplan’s impact extended far beyond his professional accomplishments.
